Three ways into military romance

Wes Calloway’s catalog includes Chain of Command, Battle Buddy, and Joint Operations. All three are M/M military romances, but they are not presented as a single series. Choose the premise that interests you rather than treating the author’s catalog as a required sequence.

For rivals and a secret relationship

Joint Operations begins the Don’t Tell Series. Set against the period before the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, it follows Marine reconnaissance staff sergeant Wade Kessler and Navy SEAL Remy Thibodeaux. Their professional rivalry becomes a relationship they must conceal. Start here if you want a confirmed series entry with its own reading-order page.

For a historical military setting

Battle Buddy is set during the Vietnam War. Its military and historical setting distinguishes it from Joint Operations. Chain of Command offers another entry into Wes’s work; its book page links to the retailer description and sample so you can compare the voices and premises yourself.

Check the content notes

The catalog classifies these books as Explicit. Joint Operations also carries notes for combat violence, period slurs, and discriminatory military policy. A heat label describes sexual content, not every potentially sensitive subject. Check the individual book and retailer information before choosing your next read.
